This individual, whose compensation will be closely tied to the growth of sales and profits generated by the wine division, will be involved in all aspects of wine merchandising. This shall encompass everything from the initial presentation of the wines on our web sites to the e-mail campaigns we implement to facilitate sales. The ultimate goal of this individual will be to increase revenues AND profits from the sale of wine to our members and customers.  Major Duties & Responsibilities Develop pricing strategies for our various wines to maximize sales and profits. Work closely with the winery Account Executives to develop the pricing strategy, ensure access to wines and coordinate relations with wineries. Develop, in conjunction with Product Management Teams, on-going marketing programs for their respective constituencies. Work closely with the IT and creative teams at ICE to maximize the effectiveness of our web sites in the merchandising and selling of wine. Identify key impediments to selling wine as well as opportunities. Maintain an on-going knowledge of the strategies and techniques of other wine sites, including the major “flash" discounters. Work with the Vice President of Strategic Business Development on the identification of new opportunities in the wine space.
