Details: Job Summary:The Network Specialist will install; configure; maintain and monitor the operations of the property?s local area network (LAN); wide area network (WAN) and enterprise systems. Provide leadership and second tier support for Desktop Coordinators.Job Responsibilities:Install and maintain local area network (LAN) and wide area network (WAN) architecture for customers and exhibitors.Monitor network performance to ensure network availability to all system users and perform necessary maintenance to support network availability.Responsible for routine testing and analysis of all network hardware and software.Maintain physical network infrastructure and perform software configurations as required.Assist with the implementation of policies; procedures; and standards to ensure overall network reliability.Function as the LAN administrator for critical enterprise systems; as designated by the Network Manager.Manage the maintenance of physical LAN hardware infrastructure and software configuration.Provide network design and consultation for conference and exhibition clients.Meet with clients for review of technical requirements.Maintain all necessary network documentation and inventory databases.Provide IT management with reporting and documentation as requested.Perform other duties as assigned.Job Qualifications:Education:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience required.Experience:Minimum two years experience in network operations; analysis and design required. Strong interpersonal and communication skills required.Licenses/Certifications:MCSE; CCNA or equivalent experience requiredOther Cisco certifications a plus.Scissor Lift certification may be required post initial employment.
